This is a website built and operated by dairy farmers for dairy farmers. Its purpose is to help us buy goods and services more effectively, by sharing information with one another on a confidential basis.

When the milk price is set by a Federal Regulator, any one farm has little or no control over the price of milk. Therefore a large part of running a successful dairy farm is how well we can control our costs

How do you know if you are paying the fair cost for fuel, dairy supplies, insurance, veterinary supplies, feed, chemicals, etc.? You may often know the right cost from experience, but wouldn’t it be good to have a quick check?

This website is a tool for dairy farmers to check market costs. It compares our own costs against a basket of other dairy farmers’ costs. It is entirely anonymous and rigorously protects any farmer’s individual data. It is entirely free. It only asks that all members provide their own costs accurately on a regular basis to make a comparison useful.
